The RBWA undertakes a wide range of projects to restore, protect, and enhance watersheds and habitats that support fish and wildlife.

The PEI Wildlife Conservation Fund (WCF) provides financial support to groups working on wildlife and conservation projects across Prince Edward Island. The fund is supported by hunting, angling, and trapping licences, as well as annual Conservation Plate fees.
